Recently I treated myself to this book. The Making of the Finest Hour Book and CD - Winston Churchill.

History will be kind to me for I intend to write it

He did write it and now the powers that be are unwriting it.

Secondary schools will strip back the traditional curriculum in favour of lessons on debt management, the environment and healthy eating, ministers revealed.

Even Winston Churchill no longer merits a mention after a drastic slimming-down of the syllabus to create more space for “modern” issues.

Along with Hitler, Gandhi, Stalin and Martin Luther King, the former prime minister has been dropped from a list of key figures to be mentioned in history teaching.

This means pupils may no longer hear about his stirring speeches during the Second World War, when he told Parliament that defeating Hitler would be Britain’s “finest hour”.

yeah I know this story is last weeks news but still it irks me.

I don’t believe that anyone just wakes up one morning and suddenly despises the person lying next to them in the bed. This is a process that takes time and just like staying in love it can only happen if it’s been nurtured and allowed to bloom fully. More than once I gladly carried the water can and fertilized the anger myself so this is something I know to be true.

The sad thing is that even though I know I’m doing this I will continue to do it because I don’t want to tell the other in my life that I’m hurt or angry or disappointed or that I don’t like something or that I need something from them, I want them to know it, or do it or stop doing it all by themselves. Because to me that proves you care enough to really KNOW me but don’t tell me you KNOW what I want or think or need because that will make me angry as well.

So is this exclusive to women or do men behave this way as well?
